What did you think of the film? .Just went to see Pokémon Detective Pikachu for its premiere in the lk. it's still a great movie and an excellent way to introduce Pokémon to the general audiences.so I went in with lower expectations than I originally had but it was really good!. 8/10 This silver screen adaptation of the world phenomena successfully takes off by bringing a new genre to the world of Pokémon while

The movie does have its flaws though, with many plot holes, a plot that seems like rushed at some places and having an ending which was predictable .Remember what I said about Detective Pikachu back in my "Ralph Breaks the Internet" review.

I will not be overthrown by nostalgia nor will I give any spoilers.also breaking the shackles for video-game based movies.I LOVED IT! The story was good, I liked the characters,A fun loving movie that can still be understood by those who aren't avid Pokémon fans if you were thinking otherwise.

This movie focuses on Tim Goodman and his father's Pokémon partner Detective Pikachu looking for Tim's missing father and unearthing a conspiracy that threatens the Pokémon world.the Pokemon were really cute, good special effects and everything, it was great!. There is a critical hit on the video-game movie curse and its none other than by the hand of our favourite merc with the mouth.

The creators clearly put effort into making this happen and clearly have respect for the franchise that has been a great part of so many childhoods while also pleasing the general audiences, kids and adults alike. The finale was very good and is well done but it was bogged down by the overwhelming amount of plot-twists, which should’ve been avoided at all costs.

Detective Pikachu is a super effective hit to our nostalgia beats, with great visuals, good acting, The credits start with an 8-Bit battle sequence from the original ‘Red and Blue’ game and progresses to the film’s version, showing the legacy of Pokémon, which has now reached new heights. the Pokemon were really cute, good special effects and everything, it was great! . Detective Pikachu broke the video game movie curse with more force than the yell of something spoilery from Steven Universe's season 5 finale.

I love mystery films and old school whodunit plots and this movie really delivered on that front. Please go and see this movie if you love a light hearted yet heart-felt comedy, action sequences with stunning CGI that stays true to what Pokemon is all about. Clearly the creators of this particular flick took their time and gave all their effort to bring the monsters that made our childhood to life. I really liked it and I hope to see more Pokemon movies in the future like how this was made, with the Pokemon all realistic and stuff.

The creature designs are amazing. Nevertheless, the final twist is surprisingly good and ends the film on a high note. I'm sure the release of this movie has boosted sales of the Detective Pikachu game .Most importantly, the visual effects were absolutely phenomenal and made sure the Pokemon were recognizable, yet still redesigned to fit our world.

Friends don't let friends go to bad adaptations like the upcoming dumpster fire that is the Sonic movie. It's hard to watch Pokemon and not wish that Ash Ketchum was around there somewhere, Overall, I really enjoyed this movie and would recommend it to anyone, kid or adult.

Justice Smith was great and I think I'm now a fan after this film. A Pokemon Mystery Dungeon movie would be absolutely fantastic, not to mention a great way for them to hype up a new Mystery Dungeon game when they make one; It also delivers in the comedy department with Reynolds' natural and snarky sense.While it is a kids movie, it also has many emotional moments that are nailed perfectly with great character . Something else to mention is that the CGI is stunning.

The story tries to play the element of surprise too hard but fails to do so.Coming to the acting part, Ryan Reynolds does an exceptional job as always and the other actors, especially Justice Smith did very well.
It was obvious some of the actors were unseasoned, but the main actor but Justice did an excellent job.The special effects were also great, nothing too out there but just really well done. I was surprised actually how this story involved Pokemon, but wasn't exclusively about them which is different from other cartoon films from the past.
